Chris Collett, Company CEO and Principal Consultant, is a Certified Indoor Air Quality Professional with over 40 years’ experience in IAQ research and consulting. Chris is the industry leader in Canada for IAQ testing in LEED and Green buildings, having performed testing in over 180 projects throughout Western Canada.

Chris has also conducted more than 2,500 IAQ investigations of commercial, institutional, industrial and residential buildings worldwide, employing state of the art IAQ sampling and analytical protocols. He has also authored numerous scientific and technical papers on IAQ, building performance and occupant health and comfort.

Chris is a Past President, Current Board Member and Treasurer Emeritus of the British Columbia Chapter of the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and Board Member of the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) Vancouver Chapter.  Christopher Collett and Associates Ltd. is a Green Building Specialist member of the Canadian Green Building Council (CaGBC).

Chris received a B.Sc. (Hons) from Loughborough University of Technology in the U.K. in 1979, and a Master’s Degree from Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, B.C. in 1981.

Chris Collett has been a member of ASHRAE for 30 years. He has served two terms as President of the ASHRAE British Columbia Chapter, and served as General Chair for the ASHRAE Region XI Chapter Regional Conference (CRC) in May 2013.  Chris continues to be an active participant on the ASHRAE BC Chapter Board as a Governor, and has recently been appointed the Chapter's Treasurer Emeritus.
