American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE)
Chris Collett has been a member of ASHRAE for 30 years. He has served two terms as President of the ASHRAE British Columbia Chapter, and served as General Chair for the ASHRAE Region XI Chapter Regional Conference (CRC) in May 2013. Chris continues to be an active participant on the ASHRAE BC Chapter Board as a Governor, and has recently been appointed the Chapter's Treasurer Emeritus.
ASHRAE is a building technology society with more than 50,000 members worldwide. The society and its members focus on building systems, energy efficiency, indoor air quality and sustainability within the industry. Through research standards writing, publishing and continuing education, ASHRAE shapes tomorrow's built environment today.
Canada Green Building Council (CaGBC)
Christopher Collett and Associates Ltd. is proud to be a Green Building Specialist corporate member of the Canada Green Building Council. The CaGBC's mission is to "lead and accelerate the transformation to high performing, healthy green buildings, homes and communities throughout Canada". The CaGBC is working to change industry standards, develop best practices and guidlines, be an advocate for green buildings, and develop educational tools.
Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA)
Chris Collett is a member of IAQA and serves as Membership Director for the newly established IAQA Vancouver Chapter.
Their Mission statement is “IAQA is dedicated to bringing practitioners together to prevent and solve indoor environmental problems for the benefit of customers and the public” and operates under five pillars of excellence: Member Engagement, Communication and Connection, Education, Operational Excellence, and Collaboration.
